Event Recap: Paint + Sip at Camden College Park

Last week I hosted a Paint + Sip event at Camden College Park!  Since it is November, residents painted a turkey design on their canvases, led by our instructor, Sarah.  The property mixed up a delicious batch of whisky sour punch for guests to sip on.  It was a great event.  Check out some photos from the event!

Our instructor, Sarah, showed residents how to recreate her masterpiece, while keeping everyone entertained!

Residents channeled their inner Picassos!

Look at all those masterpieces!  We had such a great time meeting the residents and staff + look forward to more paint + sip events in the future!

Event Recap: Beer Tasting at Park Adams

It’s Movember, which means that this month men are growing out their beards and mustaches in honor of mens health!  Thus, my events this month have been catered to the male variety.  Yesterday I had the opportunity to host a beer tasting at Park Adams apartment homes.  I worked with local brewery, Right Proper Brewing Company to bring a quality tasting to their residents.  Right Proper lead guests through a tasting of 3 of their popular beer options, while guests snacked on an assortment of cheeses, meats and crackers.  Residents had a great time learning about their brewing process, and of course, tasting beer!

Each guests grabbed a mini mason jar mug upon entering the tasting room.

Even the water bottles had mustaches!

The 3 varieties that guests got to try.  The Baron Corvo was the crowd favorite!

I’d say the beer was a hit!

It’s always great when residents get to know each other!

Residents played games such as ‘Find Dwight’s ‘Stache,’ Mustache Trivia, and also participated in a raffle.  Lots of fun!

I had such a great time meeting the residents and staff of Park Adams + I look forward to more beer tastings in the future!

Special thanks to Right Proper for joining me to create this fun-filled experience!

Event Recap: Pink Happy Hour at Bennett Park

Last month was all about breast cancer awareness + to join the fight I offered Pink Happy Hours to my event selection.  I got to work with Bennett Park to bring them a pink happy hour complete with a signature cocktail + desserts.  Residents got to nosh on cake pops, mini cupcakes + pretzel rods, while sipping on a Pink Hope cocktail.

Check out photos from the event!

Mini cupcakes on a ferris wheel!

It was such a pleasure meeting their residents over sweet treats!  I look forward to more awareness events in the future!

Recap: Pink Happy Hour at The Julian

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to host a pink happy hour at The Julian at Fair Lakes in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  The night consisted of pink desserts including cake pops, chocolate covered Oreos, dipped pretzels, cupcakes and a signature Pink Hope cocktail.

I had a great time meeting their residents + supporting the fight against breast cancer!

Recap: Trivia Night at Station House

Yesterday I had the opportunity to host a ‘Trivia Night’ themed happy hour at Station House.  It was loads of fun!

Our menu for the evening consisted of Korean BBQ wontons, chipotle chicken salad cups + whipped Oreo mousse dessert cups.  Our signature drink was our popular Frozen Berry Lemonade.

The fun really got started when the trivia game began.  Attendees were asked to split into groups of four to compete against other teams for some prizes.  The property gave away gift cards as well as a grand prize, which was 1/2 off their party room rental fee.  We had 7 teams in total that competed + all were filled with residents who just met one another.  I love bringing strangers together!

Here are a few photos from the event:

After a series of tie breaker questions, Team Big 10 came out victorious + took home the prizes!

I had such a good time with the staff (Corzann was amazing!) and residents of the property + hope to be back soon!

Recap: Paint + Sip Event at Camden South Capitol

Paint + Sip events have become my favorite events to hosts!  When Camden South Capitol reached out to me to host a Paint + Sip for their residents I was thrilled!  They have such a great property and Diana, the Assistant Manager, was so pleasant to work with.

They requested a Washington-themed piece to paint + we delivered with our cherry blossom + Washington monument painting.  Our instructor, Sarah, showed residents how to channel their inner Picassos + recreate our masterpiece.

Here are a few pictures from the event:

The best thing about Paint + Sip events is that no two canvases look the same when painted.  It’s all about individuality!

I look forward to hosting more events with Camden in the future!

Recap: Tiki Happy Hour at 77H

I was ready for warmer weather to arrive just so I could start hosting outdoor happy hour events!  Therefore, I was excited when 77H contacted me about booking an outdoor happy hour for their residents.  They didn’t have a theme in mind so I opted for a tiki themed event.  Tiki & luau parties have been a hit for my clients this season so I decided to stick with the trend.

The day of the event was the hottest of the season, but that didn’t stop me + my team from bringing their residents a fabulous experience!  The menu consisted of Aloha sliders (ground turkey sliders topped with pineapple salsa), Chicken + Pineapple Skewers + Sand Cups (whipped cheesecake mousse cups topped with crumbled Nilla wafers + an umbrella) for dessert.  Check out some photos from the fun-filled event:

You’ve got to love an event where residents can lounge by the pool!

Thank you to the staff + residents at 77H for braving the heat with me!  I love forward to hosting more events with this fab property in the future!

Recap: Canvases + Cocktails Event at Heritage Apartments

Last month I had the pleasure of returning to Heritage at Silver Spring to host a Canvases + Cocktails event (my version of a paint and sip)!  Guests were given mini canvases and easels and were asked to use their imagination to create their own masterpieces.  We sipped on my signature frozen berry cocktails + even played a bit of ‘Small Talk’.  I made it competition style by telling all guests that the best painting would receive a grand prize.  Because it was so hard to choose just one, we ended up with 3 winners!

Take a look at pictures from this fun-filled event!

Some of the amazing artwork that residents produced!

I had such a great time hosting this Canvases + Cocktails event and I look forward to returning to Heritage at Silver Spring in the future!

Recap: Resident Appreciation Week at Avery Row!

Last week I had the pleasure of hosting two events at Avery Row for their resident appreciation week!  Avery Row is a beautiful luxury apartment residence located in Arlington, VA.  I held a fab happy hour there last month + was excited when they called me back to entertain their residents again.

The first event was a Sunday brunch, but of course I made it TBR style.  We had a menu that consisted of Maple Bacon Pancake bites, Assorted Mini Quiches, Mini Croissants w/ Chipotle Chicken Salad + Strawberry Bellinis to wash it all down!

It was great to meet their residents!

The next event was a luau-themed happy hour event.  We turned the room into a tiki bar + provided a menu with items such as Asian Lettuce Wraps, Hawaiin BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders, Whipped Cheesecake Sand Cups + a delicious Luau punch!

Welcome to Hawaii!

Residents got lei’d upon their arrival to join in on the fun!

Each Whipped Cheesecake Sand Cup was adorned with these tiny umbrellas.  How cute!

I had a great time celebrating resident appreciation week at Avery Row + look forward to returning in the future for more fun fetes!
