On May 21 I hosted the 2nd installment of my TBR ‘Happy Hour at Home’ series. I held the inaugural event in April and since it was such a hit I decided to keep it going!
This time I upped the ante by teaming up with my girl Kiya of Bartender Chicks DC, who made our delicious signature cocktail of the evening. We opted for a SoCo punch, which was made with Southern Comfort, Minute Maid Lime, Minute Maid Orange Juice + 7-Up. So easy to make, and so easy to get you drunk! lol
All of the beverages were served in mason jars w/ striped straws + tied with purple ribbon.
Of course I made a few appetizers for the crowd to snack on!
Happy Hour Menu:
+ Teriyaki Wings
+ Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus
+ Buffalo Deviled Eggs
For dessert, guests enjoyed chocolate mousse cups topped with fresh raspberries. I also whipped up an assortment of mini cheesecakes topped with strawberries + chocolate (not pictured).
And of course… no TBR event is complete without lots + lots of shots!
